The 53 feet long Minnehaha Falls is a popular tourist attraction in Minneapolis. Located on Minnehaha Creek near its junction with the Mississippi River. It’s located in Minnehaha Park and became a popular tourist destination in the mid-1800’s.The 193-acre park is on the National Register of Historic Places and features historic structures, statues, and garden. The park surrounding Minnehaha Falls is a favorite spot for viewing the falls, hiking, concerts, weddings, and picnicking.
