The Mohawk Moving Process
Mohawk Moving & Storage has developed uniform procedures and strict standards to ensure your moving experience is stress-free, from start to finish. Here's what you can expect when you contact us.
Step One: In-home visit
Our phone representative will help you determine when a Mohawk salesperson can visit you personally at your origin location.
Step Two: Estimate completion
During the visit, your salesperson will explain the estimate process, ask you essential questions, conduct a walk-through, and provide an accurate estimate on site. He or she will also review the rights and responsibilities of each party and the role of the Mohawk move coordinator. Expect a follow up phone call within a few days.
Step Three: Determine dates
Once you've signed a moving agreement with us, your salesperson will verify in writing all essential dates for packing, moving, arrival and unloading. Your move coordinator will verify all details and be your point person for every aspect of the move. Expect ongoing contact as your move date approaches.
Step Four: Pick up and delivery
Moving day! Mohawk moving professionals will carefully prepare your load for transport and conduct a final walk through to ensure completion. If your move is interstate, we'll give you a tracking number to follow your possessions online. Your move coordinator will relay ongoing updates regarding a precise delivery day and time.
Step Five: Post-move follow-up
Once your possessions are delivered, your move coordinator will contact you to ensure your expectations were met and/or exceeded. We pledge to solve any grievances fairly and promptly to your satisfaction. Lastly, we'll ask you to complete a quick, post-move survey.
